Walnut Wooden Bowl created by Linda Amerighi

This Bowl is made of Black Walnut Sap wood, with a beautiful finish to enhance the natural beauty of the wood. The bowl is signed by the artist, Linda Amerighi, who also inscribed the species of wood used to make the bowl.

Linda creates these bowls from start to finish in her workshop. She brings home forest cut logs, and is able to turn them on her lathe to see and release the design from within the wood.

For larger pieces she’ll work directly with the saw mill to get just the right wood for her project. Friends help out by delivering wood to her house as well.
