Who wouldn’t want to have a Nook of their own? (actually a Nook with their own name on it?) One tucked away in the northeast corner of the mezzanine balcony at the Hotchkiss library of Sharon? With a stately and comfy chair, little side table on which to pile some books, and a view down to the book-filled main room of the Library, you could settle in for some serious reading, whether listening to snowflakes hit the window, or to feel the sun’s warm gaze. The winning bidder will bestow their name upon our Reading Nook, and take pleasure in knowing that their support will help the Library continue to cultivate generations of readers. While you can enjoy the space when you’re in the Library, you’ll also have the satisfaction of knowing that you’ve helped other readers, now and into the future, experience the pleasures of The Nook as a temporary home to them and their book of choice.
