hank you to everyone who made the 26th Annual Sharon Summer Book Signing a Success!

The weather did not dampen the spirits of the authors. Our volunteers and staff pivoted so quickly, moving the event inside for the first 45 minutes and then back outside when the sun reappeared. Books were signed and sold; tasty hors devours were served by local eighth-grade volunteers and enjoyed by all.  Our excellent volunteer bartenders served refreshing beverages. Guests enjoyed talking to authors and reuniting with old friends.  Bestselling authors and debut ones, nationally-known and local, all loved meeting their colleagues, fans, and readers. All the proceeds from this, our largest annual fundraiser, support our daily operations, from staffing to new book purchases, from children’s programming to Zoom events for adults. The library’s staff and board are so grateful for the generosity of our guests, volunteers, and all the amazing authors and illustrators who celebrated the power of words, books, and libraries! Looking forward to see you next year, on Friday, August 1, 2025!
