Chocolate Tasting and Master Class with Mudgetown Chocolate

Want to try some chocolate? Sure! With the Sharon craft chocolatier who will show you some of the wonders of chocolate and why you like it so much?
Even Better!

Join Christophe Armero, of Mudgetown Chocolate for his chocolate masterclass. Building on a career in sugar and cocoa, Christophe and his wife Jennie Baird are creating exquisitely simple chocolate bars in their Sharon barn. Working with select cacao producers, and the minimum of ingredients (sugar and sometimes milk), they craft chocolate bars that showcase each origin at its best.

During this Chocolate Master Class you’ll learn about the components and processes of creating chocolate, and how the small batch craft chocolate movement has created alternatives to industrial chocolate. Peer into your own brain as the sensory evaluation process shows how you perceive some of the important, but very subtle qualities in different chocolates, (and perhaps why you just can’t help yourself)!

Then, put all this knowledge to use, as you are guided through a tasting of some of the Mudgetown Chocolate creations. You’ll soon understand what makes Christophe’s approach so special, why it matters. You’ll want to dive right in.
